Waterways CA2 Carbon Filter

Carbon filters are use for water clarification (colour removal), bacterial capture/retention, chlorine removal and odour/taste removal. Carbon must be backwashed regularly to reduce the risk of bio-fouling occurring. Carbon filters don’t cope well with sediment loads, it’s therefore common to have a mixed bed filter installed prior to handle this.
